Connecting agricultural innovation with Türkiye.

Exploring breakthrough agricultural technologies — and practical pathways to their commercialization in Türkiye.

Innovation needs more than a good product.

BEKALY is an independent, founder-led initiative being developed in Türkiye. We explore differentiated technologies, assess regulatory and commercial feasibility, and build on direct industry relationships to pursue viable routes to market.

Technology areas we are interested in exploring.

Seven areas where differentiated agricultural technologies may address real needs of growers in Türkiye. These describe fields of interest — not an existing product portfolio.

  • Advanced Plant Nutrition

Specialty fertilizers and microelement solutions — such as chelated micronutrients, water-soluble and foliar nutrition — designed to improve nutrient-use efficiency and correct deficiencies precisely.

  • Biostimulants & Plant Resilience

Products such as seaweed extracts, amino acids and humic substances that may help crops tolerate abiotic stress — heat, drought, salinity — and support yield stability and crop quality.

  • Biological Crop Protection

Microbial and biochemical approaches to pest and disease control — including beneficial microorganisms, botanical extracts and pheromone-based tools — as complements within integrated pest management.

  • Soil & Rhizosphere Innovation

Soil amendments, conditioners and root-zone biology — such as soil-improving inputs and root-associated microbes — aimed at better soil structure, nutrient availability and root development.

  • Advanced Formulation & Delivery

Technologies such as encapsulation, controlled and slow release, and improved adjuvants that may enhance stability, targeting and efficiency of active ingredients and nutrients.

  • Digital Agronomy & Precision Technologies

Field and greenhouse sensors, precision irrigation and fertigation, and data-driven decision tools that help growers apply water and inputs where and when they matter.

  • Field Validation & Evidence Technologies

Methods and tools for robust trial design, data collection and evidence analytics — helping translate technology claims into locally relevant, decision-ready results.

  • Have a technology in one of these areas?

We are interested in early, open conversations with technology owners and original manufacturers.

From a promising idea to a grounded opportunity.

Each technology is evaluated step by step, so that any route to market is built on evidence rather than enthusiasm.

  1. Technology

Understanding the mechanism of action, the formulation and the strength of the available evidence.

  2. Market relevance

Identifying the crops and the real grower problems in Türkiye that the technology could meaningfully address.

  3. Feasibility

Assessing the likely registration classification and pathway, alongside the commercial economics of bringing it to market.

  4. Commercial pathway

Exploring distribution or representation options — only where the previous steps show the opportunity is genuinely feasible.

From insight to commercial execution.

The experience behind BEKALY includes direct, established professional relationships with agricultural-input retailers, regional wholesalers, distributors and growers. These connections provide a starting point for evaluating and activating suitable market opportunities.

  • Regulatory awareness

Exploring how a technology may be classified under Türkiye's agricultural-input framework and what a realistic registration route could involve. This is preliminary orientation, not a licensed regulatory service.

  • Channel access

Using the founder's existing professional relationships to understand how retailers, wholesalers and distributors might view a technology and where it could fit.

  • Market activation

Considering how a feasible opportunity could be introduced — for example through local partners or representation — once evaluation supports it. BEKALY does not currently operate as a distributor.

Grounded in the field.

Musa Engin Founder

An agricultural engineer with over 15 years of experience in Türkiye's agricultural-input sector, Musa has worked across field sales, crop marketing and strategy, previously at BASF, ADAMA and BioFirst.

That experience — from grower conversations in the field to market-level planning — shapes how BEKALY looks at new technologies: practically, with attention to what growers need and what channels can realistically support.

Past employers are mentioned for professional background only. BASF, ADAMA and BioFirst are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, BEKALY.

Developing something worth exploring?

If you own or manufacture an agricultural technology and are considering Türkiye, we would be glad to start an open, no-obligation conversation.
